Dishwasher/ Salad Bar, Eat N’ Park; Pittsburgh, PA — 2014–2015

In my sophomore year of high school this was my first job. I started as a dishwasher and was quickly prompted to a higher paying salad bar attendant. I was in charge of setting up and maintaining the salad bar for customers.

 

Cook/Runner, Mineos Pizza; Pittsburgh, PA — 2015– 2016

I worked at Mineos my junior year of high school for the school year only. I was I charge of making hoagies, pastas, specialty menu items, fries, wings, etc. I was also a runner for my own food and pizzas. I occasionally worked the register when needed. This gave me good customer service experience.

 

Custom Barn Wood Assistant, — Summer 2017

During the 2016 summer I assisted my cousin as his assistant in creating custom reclaimed bar wood items. Some of our most popular items were just plain unfinished barn-wood, custom tables, barn doors, benches, and some restaurant design. This was a great hands on working experience making me good with my hands.

 

Laborer, Private Contractor Jim Marshal — Summer 2018

This was my most recent job. I worked as a laborer on a house remodeling project. Majority of my work consisted of demolition and clean up, occasionally helping with carpentry, and drywall work. This also taught me a lot about working hands on in a construction environment.
